OBIT CLEMENTS, D.

David Michael Clements, age 42, of 4724 Glenn Tara Dr., Midlothian, Va., formerly of Covington, died Tuesday. Mr. Clements was born July 24, 1947, in Clifton Forge. A son of Roy Coffey Clements and Catherine Simpson Clements, of 310 East Main St. , Covington. He was a member of Granbery Memorial United Methodist Church and was employed by William Bryd Press of Richmond. Mr. Clements was a 1965 graduate of Covington High School. Other than his parents he is survived by two brothers, Paul Kevin Clements, Chesterfield; George Stephen Clements, Madison, Tenn.; one aunt, Mrs. Merle (Nora Lee Clements) Hipes, Covington; two uncles, James R. Simpson; and Grover C. Simpson, Jr., both of Covington; two nieces; and two nephews; and a number of great aunts; and great uncles. He was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Rebecca Clements in 1943. Funeral services will be held Friday at 3:00 p.m. at Granbery Memorial United Methodist Church with the Rev. Joseph T. Williams officiating. Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery. The family suggest that memorial tributes take the form of contributions to Granbery Memorial United Methodist Church.
