AGRICULTURE OFFICIALS TO SPEAKE AT TECH

U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Clayton Yeuter and one of his top assistants will speak at this summer's Agri-Tech program at Virgnia Tech.

Yeuter will speak at 11 a.m. Friday, July 13, animal industry day. The day will begin at 8:30 a.m. at the Animal Science Farm on the Tech campus.

On plant industry day, Thursday, July 12, Charles E. Hess, assistant secretary for science and education will speak. Hess chaired the National Research Council committee to develop a national strategy for biotechnology in agriculture.
