HIGH COST OF STAMPS CUTS USE OF MAILS

I AGREE with Tina Dietz's letter May 8. When stamps were 20 cents, I would write six to eight personal letters a week, and send eight to 10 cards for birthdays, illness, etc. Now I average two personal letters a week and send about eight cards a month.

When postage goes to 30 cents, I will mail nothing but post cards. I am not the only one doing this. I hear this will be done by many.

Yes, raise junk-mail rates. My box is full of it almost every day, and I just put it in the trash.
