Vernon McClure Wells, age 64, of Falls Church, formerly of Salem, died Thursday in a Fairfax hospital. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Virginia Martin Wells; two sons, the Rev. Steven B. Wells, Mark Wells; one daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Wells Oldham; one grandson, Jason T. Wells. Graveside services will be held Monday, May 28, at 1:00 p.m. at Sherwood Memorial Park with the Rev. David Wade officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the Lotz Salem Chapel.
