Mr. Maxwell John Blaney, of 5440 Clearspring Dr., Catawba, Va., died Friday. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at the Hamlar-Curtis Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Carl Tinsley officiating with burial in Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Monday from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The family will meet at the home of his son Calvin Blaney, 2717 Kirkland Dr., N.W. Hamlar-Curtis, Morticians.
