GORDON, WILLIAM O.

William Oscar Gordon, age 60, died May 26, 1990, in a Lexington Hospital. He was born in Rockbridge County, December 24, 1929, the son of the late William H. and Retter Southers Gordon. Mr. Gordon was formerly of Lexington and had been living in Tell City, Indiana for over 30 years. He was a veteran of the Korean War. He was preceded in death by a son, Jimmy Lee Gordon. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Patricia Delaisse Gordon, Tell City; three daughters, Miss Sue Gordon, Indianapolis, Ind.; Miss Debbie Gordon, Evansville, Ind.; Mrs. Diane Deom, Evanston, Ind.; one son, Jerry Gordon, Farmington, N.M.; four sisters, Mrs. Mazie Gibson, Mrs. Anna Brads, Mrs. Katherine Robinson, and Mrs. Dorothy Ruley, all of Lexington; three brothers, George Gordon, Ed Gordon, both of Lexington; Bill Gordon, Buena Vista; mother-in-law, Mrs. Ella Delaisse, Tell City, Ind.; three grandchildren. A memorial service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday at the Lomax Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Jesse Blankenship. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday at Lomax Funeral Chapel. No flowers to be sent to the funeral services in Buena Vista. A funeral service will be conducted Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. in Tell City, Ind.
