Mrs. Grace B. Joyce of Newport News died Thursday, May 24, 1990, in the Riverside Regional Medical Center. A native of Bedford, Va., she was a resident of Newport News for 53 years. She retired in 1987 from the Patrick Henry Hospital as a nursing supervisor after 19 years of service. She was a member of the Hilton Baptist Church and the Euzelian Bible Class. She is survived by two sisters, Mary Lewis Wettle, Virginia Beach; Willie Ruth Booth, Mechanicsville; one brother, John Bays, Roanoke. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 29, 1990, in the Riverside Regional Convalescent Center Chapel by Chaplain Carl L. Cooper. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 618-C J. Clyde Morris Blvd., Newport News, Va., 23606. Arrangements by Peninsula Funeral Home, Newport News.
