\ Mrs. Gladys Garst Galbraith, age 66, of 6150 Cove Road, N. W., died Saturday, May 26, 1990, in a local hospital. She was the widow of William E. Galbraith and a member of the Green Ridge Baptist Church. Mrs. Galbraith was a retired cafeteria manager of the Glen Cove Elementary School. Surviving are one son, James B. (Jim) Galbraith of Salem; one daughter, Judy G. Simmons of Boones Mill; sister, Allene G. Bissaillon of West Minster, Calif.; two brothers, Jack (C. A.) Garst, Luther J. Garst, Jr., both of Roanoke County; five grandchildren, two stepgrandchildren. Funeral services will be at Oakey's North Chapel 11:00 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. J. Michael Palmer officiating. Interment will be in the Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Oakey's North Chapel from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Monday and Tuesday.
