\ Mr. Oscar James Dent, age 80, of 7610 Williamson Road, died Sunday in a local hospital. Survivors include three daughters, Edna M. Tinsley, Mammie L. Witcher, and Earlene Eliott, all of Roanoke; two brothers, Elder David Dent, Roanoke; Walter Dent, Hollins; three sisters, Hattie Craighead, Franklin County; Helen Milliner and Frances Jones, both of Roanoke; two sons-in-law, Robert Witcher and Billy Eliott, both of Roanoke; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives. Hamlar-Curtis Funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
