Randy Scott Lyons, 23, was dead at the scene of the accident on Virginia 747 east of Dublin about 10:45 p.m., state police said.
Two passengers in Lyons' car, Jeffrey Wayne Norfold and Jerry Thomas Hopkins, both of Radford, were injured. They were treated and released from Radford Community Hospital.
The driver of the car that collided with Lyons' car, Stephen Wallen of Dublin, also suffered minor injuries and was treated and released from Radford Community Hospital.
