SPEAKER TO EXPLAIN LITERACY PASSPORT TEST

Elaine Grainger from the State Department of Education will be the featured speaker at a program on the Literacy Passport Test now being given to sixth-graders in area public schools.

The program will include the rationale behind the test and how it will affect present and future learning.

The program is sponsored by the Special Education Advisory Committee of Radford and will be held at the Radford School Board office at 5:30 p.m., June 5.
