John C. Doyle of 4452 Stonewall Road, N.W., died at his residence Sunday after a lengthy illness. He was born at Monterey, Va., March 21, 1906, the son of the late John Milton and Artie Robinson Doyle. He was a retired employee of Virginia Electric Power Company at Fairlea, W.Va. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Genevieve Morgan Doyle, Roanoke; four daughters, Mrs. Larry (Donna) Frost, Clearwater, Fla.; Mrs. Charles (Pat) Saunders and Miss Phyllis Doyle, both of Salem; Mrs. Robert (Brenda) Stewart, Sacramento, Calif.; one sister, Mrs. Pauline Loan, Rainelle, W.Va.; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday in the Memorial Chapel of McCraw Funeral Home with the Rev. Jim Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Greenbrier Memorial Gardens in Lewisburg. Friends may call after 2:00 p.m. Tuesday with the family receiving friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
