OBIT HAMBLIN, C.

Carrie Lindsey Hamblin, age 77, died Monday in a Montgomery County nursing home. Surviving are her husband, Albert C. Hamblin, Belspring; a daughter and son-in-law, Peggy H. and Robert O. Brown, Blacksburg; two granddaughters, Melissa D. Brown and Tamara L. Brown, both of Blacksburg; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the DeVilbiss Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Joe McCoy officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday at the DeVilbiss Funeral Home.
