\ HARDY - Norman Henry Webb, age 70, of Hardy, died Sunday. He was retired from Roanoke Ready Mix and was a member of AMVETS Post #40. Surviving are a brother, Bill Webb, Clifton Forge; two sons, Norman L. Webb, Norfolk; Robert E. Webb, Roanoke; seven daughters, Sadie M. Conner, Roanoke; Juanita L. Chocklett, Hardy; Audrey M. Thompson, Vinton; Judy A. Jackson, Bassett; Carolyn F. Hubbard, Goodview; Janet B. Austin, Moneta; Delores K. Wilson, Roanoke; 35 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren. Services will be conducted from Oakey's Vinton Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Thursday. Dr. Denver Davis will officiate. Interment will follow at 3:00 p.m. Thursday in the Sunrise Cemetery in Alleghany County, Va. Friends may call at Oakey's Vinton Chapel.
