\ Mrs. Virginia Powell Burton, age 67, of Salem died Tuesday in a Salem hospital. She was a former employee of Miller & Rhodes. She is survived by two sons, James G. Burton, Jr., and Ronald L. Burton, both of Salem; three brothers, Benjamin A. Powell, II of Harrisonburg; Douglas C. Powell, and Aubrey C. Powell, both of Roanoke; two grandchildren, Jamie Burton and Tammy Neel. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 31, 1990 at 3:00 p.m. at the Lotz Salem Chapel with the Rev. Paul Alwine officiating. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call at Lotz Salem Chapel after 12:00 noon Wednesday.
