LIVESTOCK, CROPS TO GET OWN CENSUS

Gather up the chickens, cows and corn for the Agriculture Department's first livestock and crop census next month.

The department's National Agricultural Statistics Service will conduct the survey among 130,000 farmers June 1-15 for crop and livestock production and inventories.
