Because of a reporter's error, sponsorship of bicycle races in Blacksburg's Mountain Magic Weekend were incorrectly listed in Monday's editions. Diet Pepsi sponsored the Race to the Lake on Sunday, and Taco Bell sponsored Saturday's criterium races on the Virginia Tech campus.

\ Because of an editorial assistant's error, the opening date of Mill Mountain Theatre-Theatre B's production of "Magic To Do" in Friday's Calendar section was listed incorrectly. The production opens July 11.

\ Because of a copy editor's error, Paul Matthias' name was mispelled in an article Tuesday about a reduction in food allotments to the poor. He directs a food assistance program for the poor in Virginia.
