POLICE ACCUSE MAN OF STEALING PALLETS

A Southeast Roanoke man faces a grand larceny charge in connection with the theft of 100 wood pallets from Roanoke Fruit & Produce Co. Saturday.

Michael D. Harkey, 24, of the 1700 block of Rutrough Road, was being held in Roanoke City Jail Thursday evening on a $1,000 bond.

He was arrested about 6:30 p.m. Harkey was scheduled for arraignment this morning in Roanoke General District Court.
