\ Charles Arthur Dionne, died suddenly at his residence of acute cardiac arrest on Thursday, May 31, 1990. He was 72 years of age. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, the former Audrey Clarke; his son Wayne Charles; his daughter; Barbara Elizabeth Swan, Alpharetta, Georgia; his bother, John T. Dionne; of Montreal, Canada. He was a veteran of World War II, a flying officer in the R.C.A.F. and a recipient of the Distinguished Flying Cross presented to him in 1945. He spent 35 years in the hotel-motel industry and was retired at the time of his death. In deference to his wishes there will be no visitation or calling hours. A private memorial mass will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Oakey's Roanoke.
