\ Mrs. Jane Harris Harper, age 75, of Troutville, passed away Friday in a local hospital. She was a lifetime member of Cloverdale Church of the Brethren and a retiree from the Botetourt County School System. Surviving are her husband of fifty-five years, Herbert C. Harper; a son, Lowell Harper, Buchanan; a daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Vinson Gray, Roanoke; four grandchildren, Mark Harper, Brendon Gray, Laura Gray, Kristi Gray; a brother, Guy Harris, Troutville. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Sunday from Oakey's North Chapel with the Rev. Steven W. Van Houten officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Chapel Cemetery, Botetourt County. Friends may call at Oakey's North Chapel.
