\ Mrs. Eirsel Lee Davis Bland, age 80, died Saturday, June 2, 1990, in Meadowbrook Nursing Home in Shawsville. She is survived by her husband, Earl M. Bland; five sons, Ralph Bland, Greenfield, Ind.; Marvin Bland, Pendleton, Ind.; Raymond Bland, Jerry Bland, and Ronnie Bland, all of Christiansburg; four daughters, Mrs. Gordon S. (Marie) Barbour, Roanoke; Mrs. Lloyd (Anna Lee) Gillispie, Fortville, Ind.; Mrs. Jerry (Marlene) Linkous, Mrs. Pauline Johnson, both of Christiansburg; one brother, Lovell M. Davis, Blacksburg; one sister, Bertha Scott, Charlottesville; 25 grandchldren; 31 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild. The funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday from the Richardson-Horne Funeral Home Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Sam Hancock with burial in Westview Cemetery in Blacksburg. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7:00 to 9:00 Monday evening.
