\ Melvin Gene Sizemore, age 50, of Roanoke, died Saturday, June 2, 1990, in a local hospital. He was a member of the Brookhill Baptist Church and a former coach at the Vinton Recreation Club. Surviving are his wife, Sandra B. Sizemore; one daughter, Fran Sizemore, of the home; three sons, Melvin Lee Sizemore, Manassas; Steven R. Sizemore and Timothy L. Sizemore, both of the home; his mother, Alice A. Sizemore, Glenwood Park Methodist Home, Princeton, W. Va.; three sisters, Ellen Panashy, Sarah Johnson and Sue Lee, all of Princeton, W. Va.; four brothers, Jack Sizemore, Greenville, S.C.; Bernard Sizemore, Colombia, S.C.; Samuel Sizemore, Princeton, W. Va.; Keith Sizemore, Melbourne, Fla. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's Roanoke Chapel at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, June 5, with Pastor Wilmar P. Wegner officiating. Burial will be in the Bandy Cemetery, Roanoke County.
