$1.7 MILLION LOTTO NUMBERS PICKED

The buyer of a Lotto ticket at a Newport News 7-Eleven store will be about $64,000 richer this year and for the next 19 years, lottery spokeswoman Cherie Phaup said Sunday.

Phaup said the winner will receive $1.7 million, paid in 20 annual installments after taxes of $64,600.

The winning numbers were two, three, 12, 14, 19 and 26. Eighty-two people correctly picked five of them to win $943, Phaup said. She said 4,383 people picked four of six numbers to win $37. And 65,123 picked three of the six winning numbers to get a free play.

Lottery officials said 2.3 million tickets were sold last week. They estimate this week's jackpot at $1.5 million.
