PSYCHOLOGICAL CENTER NEEDS VOLUNTEERS

People suffering from panic disorder or agoraphobia are still needed for a study conducted by the Virginia Tech Psychological Services Center.

Panic disorder involves a variety of unpleasant symptoms including shortness of breath, rapid breathing, chest pain, faintness and fear of dying or losing control. Agoraphobics fear crowded public places and situations such as using tunnels, bridges and elevators.

Those participating in the study can receive free assessment and treatment. Information obtained during the study is confidential and participants will remain anonymous. Call 231-6914 for information.
