Martin Luther Firebaugh, Sr., age 60, of Pleasant Valley Rd., Spartanburg, S.C. died Tuesday, June 5, 1990 in the Mary Black Memorial Hospital. A native of Fincastle, Va., he was the husband of Betty Fowler Firebaugh, of the home, and son of the late Marshall and Delia Wilson Firebaugh. He was a member of Cowpens Masonic Lodge #210. Also surviving are two sons, Martin L. Firebaugh, Cowpens, S.C.; Michael L. Firebaugh, Spartanburg, S.C.; three daughters, Joanne Firebaugh, Columbia, S.C.; Alma J. Firebaugh, Shirley L. Firebaugh, both of Salem, Va.; three stepsons, Sgt. Jeffrey A. Sherbert, Frankfurt, Germany; Dale Wells, Lavon Wells, both of Cowpens, S.C.; two brothers, Clyde B. Firebaugh, James H. Firebaugh, both of Roanoke, Va.; two grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. Thursday at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel in Spartanburg, S.C. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday at We Love You Ministries by the Rev. William (Bud) Pace. Burial will be in Cowpens Cemetery. The J.F. Floyd Mortuary, Spartanburg, S.C., is in charge of arrangements.
