Mrs. Nellie S. Helms, age 84, of 735 Mountain View Dr., died Tuesday, June 5, 1990, in a Salem nursing home. She is survived by one daughter, Doris P. Simpson, Christiansburg; two sons, Charles R. Simpson, Salem; Robert D. Simpson, Roanoke; one brother, Lawrence E. Worley, Richmond; one sister, Lillian Hunt, Lithia, Va.; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held from the graveside in Sunset Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 7, by the Rev. Arthur Wingfield. Richardson-Horne Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
