OBIT SLUSSER, M.

Mrs. Minnie Crawford Slusser, age 80, died Monday, June 4, 1990, at her home. She was a native of Montgomery County, born June 2, 1910, to the late William Anderson and Ada Sue Keister Crawford. Mrs. Slusser was a retired dental assistant and receptionist. Surviving are one daughter and son-in-law, Nancy S. and Keith F. Wood; one granddaughter, Shawn Kristen Wood, all of Littleton, Col.; one brother, W. Kent Crawford, Highlandspring, Va.; a very close niece, Billie Sue Farmer, Wimauma, Fla. Funeral services will be Friday, June 8, at 2:00 p.m. at Hoy-McCoy Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Jesse Woodward will officiate. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Blacksburg Rescue Squad, 200 Progress St., N.E., Blacksburg, Va. 24060. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
