James Franklin Hodge, age 66, 603 Keats St. NW, passed away Tuesday. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Eddins Hodge. He served with the U.S. Army during World War II. Surviving are one son, David Hodge, Roanoke; two daughters, Judy Diane Dickey, Wasilla, Alaska; Patricia Hodge, Roanoke; two half brothers, Ward (Bud) Hale, Pelham, N.C.; Gene Hale, Blacksburg; one sister, Estelle Hoyt, Wharton, N.J.; half sister, Marie Ward, Cahokia, Ill.; also three grandchildren. Graveside services will be held 3:00 p.m. Friday, June 8, 1990 from the Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, with Dr. Elwood White, officiating. Friends may call at the Lotz Vinton Chapel.
