VIDEO WORKSHOP: NO NOTE-TAKING TIME

ON FEB. 21, Don and Carol Terp visited our classroom at William Fleming High School to conduct a two-hour hands-on video workshop for six students. They videotaped people and objects in the room for demonstration purposes, showed us how to properly use the camcorder and lighting equipment, and suggested additional materials for effective technical production.

In the later part of the period, we participated by using equipment and techniques that had been suggested. This was a session designed for observation and participation in preparation for our filming experience. It was not a time for note-taking, as indicated by Mr. Terp's comments in the news article May 5.
