\ The Rev. James Lambert Jackson, age 89, of Radford, Va., died Thursday, June 7, 1990, at Radford Community Hospital. He was a retired Presbyterian minister, having been a missionary in Zaire for several years and serving as a pastor in Virginia, Florida, and North Carolina. Surviving are three sons, James Krauss-Jackson, Louisville, Ken.; William H. Jackson of Radford; and Cecil M. Jackson, Oxford, Conn.; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at the Fairlawn Presbyterian Church with Dr. Manson B. Tate officiating. A graveside service will be held at 4:00 p.m. at the Mountain View Memorial Park at Black Mountain, N.C., with Dr. Richard G. Shelor officiating. The family requests that memorial gifts be made to the Capital Improvement Fund in care of Fairlawn Presbyterian Church, Radford, Va. 24141, or to Global Mission Ministry Unit in care of, The Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), 100 Witherspoon St., Louisville, Ken. 40202. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. Friday at the Seaver-Sanders Funeral Home in Radford.
