OBIT SALYER, M.

Marinda Elizabeth Holdren Salyer, age 84, of Rt. 2, passed away Thursday, June 7, 1990, in the Roanoke Memorial Hospital. She was born August 14, 1905. She was a member of the Mentow Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy D. Salyer, and a son, Bobby Salyer. She is survived by nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, June 9, at 2:00 p.m. from the Updike Funeral Chapel, Huddleston, by the Rev. Charles Brannon. Interment will be in the Mentow Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends this evening from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
