OHIO COUPLE FACE BLAND DRUG CHARGES

A man and woman from Ohio face charges in Bland County of cocaine possession, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Alvin D. Pfaffroth, 51, and Mona Lisa Smith, 31, both of North Canton, Ohio, were arrested Wednesday by Bland County sheriff's deputies shortly before 3 a.m. on a frontage road adjacent to Interstate 77.

Pfaffroth and Smith were released on $50,000 cash bond each pending a hearing Aug. 16 in Bland County General District Court.
