RECONSTRUCTION AT FLEMING

During the past Christmas season, the athletic field house at William Fleming High School was destroyed by fire, along with much of the school's sports equipment.

Six months have passed since the fire. During this period, the school board has approved reconstruction, contracted for the work and settled with the insurance company. Still, if you happen to venture onto the campus of William Fleming, you will notice that no construction has begun.

It would seem that six months would be adequate time to at least begin reconstruction of the facility. We were informed that construction was to begin in late April. The building is scheduled to be completed in early August. Regardless of the start-up date, we expect the project to be completed on time.
