Demonstrators tore down barricades that tied up traffic in downtown Sofia, Bulgaria, Wednesday after an opposition leader said it was not the right way to protest election results favoring the former Communists.
Malaysian police confirmed Wednesday that they found seven barrels containing the skeletons of 30 men, believed to be American soldiers, on a boat carrying Vietnamese refugees. A police spokesman said the 52-foot boat had the words "USA remains in My Boat" and "This Boat has USA army Remains" written along its the sides. An official said police found metallic tags on the skeletons with the names, unit numbers and addresses of the dead men, believed to have been killed during the Vietnam War.
