OBIT HOBSON, M.

Mary E. Byrd Hobson, age 91, of Roanoke went to be with our Lord Wednesday evening, June 13, 1990. Mrs. Hobson was a member of Grandin Court Baptist Church. She was a retired Federal Government employee. Surviving are sons and daughters-in-law, H. Monroe and Mary T. Hobson, Roanoke; J. Lewis and Margaret Hobson, Virginia Beach; Cecil L. Hobson, College Park, Md.; daughter, Mrs. Nancy H. Hawkins, Denver, Colo.; sister, Mrs. R.B. (Clara) Cundiff, Roanoke; fifteen grandchildren; and twenty-two great-grandchildren. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Oakey's South Chapel. Dr. Harry Y. Gamble and Carol Harrington will officiate. Interment will be in Evergreen Burial Park. Friends may call at Oakey's South Chapel from 10:00 a.m. Friday where the family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Friday.
