KISS COMING TO ROANOKE

Kiss is back. Yes, those shaggy-headed boys known for their makeup, costumes and occasional hits will perform in the Roanoke Civic Center coliseum July 11 at 7:30 p.m.

This tour will take on a seasonal flavor as the group endeavors to promote its 23rd album, "Hot in the Shade," a 1989 release.

Opening for Kiss is Slaughter and Little Caesar, a group whose recordings often carry warnings about offensive lyrics.

Tickets are $16.50 in advance; $17.50 day of the show. Tickets may be purchased at all Ticketron outlets and the Roanoke Civic Center box office.
