\ Ethel Goode (Manning) Horn, age 83, of Vinton, died Thursday, June 14, 1990. Mrs. Horn was retired from Roanoke Memorial Hospital and was a member of the Vinton Chapter O.E.S. #136 and the Vinton Chapter of the D.A.R. She is survived by one daughter, Joanne M. Suttenfield, Vinton; two stepsons, Wayne Horn, Md.; Bill Horn, Colo.; three sisters, Bertie Cook, Dorothy Kelch, both of Vinton; Gertrude Smith, Hardy; four brothers, Ott Goode, Vinton; Archie Goode, Roanoke; Dennis Goode, Fla.; Arnold Goode, Calif.; 6 grandchildren, Penny Spoon, Roanoke; Cathy Suttenfield, Roanoke; Linda Kandis, Roanoke; Mike Suttenfield, Vinton; Steve Suttenfield, Ga.; Dean Suttenfield, Roanoke; four great-grandsons. Two brothers, Denver and Oaky preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 18, 1990, at 1:00 p.m. at the Lotz Vinton Chapel, with interment in Fair View Cemetery. Friends may call at the Lotz Vinton Chapel after 3:00 p.m. Saturday.
