FOUR GATORS WIN AT N.C. MEET

Carolyn Bucher, Margaret Hunter Turner, Shannon Goff and David Feldman won events Friday to lead the Roanoke Valley Aquatic Association Gators in the Capital City Invitational.

The Gators had 425 points and were third in the team standings in the meet, which runs through Sunday.

Bucher won the 200-meter freestyle and Turner finished first in the 100 butterfly in the girls' 10-and-under division.

Feldman took the 50 freestyle in the boys' 13-14 age group, and Goff won the 100 backstroke in the women's senior division.
