STATE TRANSPORTATION OFFICIAL APPOINTED

Gov. Douglas Wilder Friday appointed Oscar K. Mabry of Mechanicsville to serve as deputy secretary of the Department of Transportation.

Mabry is a graduate of Virginia Military Institute and of West Virginia University. He is currently the deputy commissioner of the Department of Transportation, which he joined in 1961.
