\ ELLISTON - Thomas Baxter Handy, age 76, died Saturday, June 16, 1990. He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Carrie Lou Stewart, Louisiana; two sons, Johnny Handy and Ivan Handy, both of Greensboro, N. C.; one sister, Mrs. Ruth H. Pendry, Elliston; six grandchildren, one great-grandchild. Graveside services 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 18, 1990, at Pine Fork Cemetery in Laurel Springs, N. C., with the Rev. Jack Perdue officiating. Arrangements by Grant E. Bryant Funeral Home, Elliston.
