\ BLAND - Nina Marie Green, age 71, of Bland, died Sunday at her home. She was born in Pound, Va., a daughter of the late Benjamin O. and Virgie Mullins. She was the widow of Thomas Dunn Green. She is survived by four daughters, Ava Marie Green, Bland; Mary Elizabeth Townley, South Boston; Patricia Green Brooks and Sandra Green Harman, both of Bland; two sons, Tommy N. Mullins, Roanoke; William Harold Green, Bluefield; four sisters, Jeanette Mullins, Pound; Billie Gilley, Jessie Cantrell, and Mary Ruth Wells, all of Powell Valley; four brothers, Harold Mullins, James Mullins, Buford Mullins, and Benjamin Mullins, all of Pound; nine grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday in the Bland United Methodist Church with the Rev. Michael Jackson and the Rev. Larry Rye officiating. Interment will follow in the Temple Hills Cemetery in Bland. The family will receive friends at the Newberry Funeral Home in Bland from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Monday. Newberry Funeral Home in Bland is in charge of the arrangements.
