MORE EXCHANGES PLAN NIGHT TRADING

Seeking to stake out a leading position in global trading, three American financial exchanges announced plans Monday for all-night trading of stocks and options, starting in 1992.

The plan was announced by the American and Cincinnati stock exchanges and the Chicago Board Options Exchange, putting them in potential conflict with a similar system announced last week by the New York Stock Exchange. - The New York Times
