OBIT BRADLEY, M.

Massie Alvis Bradley, age 76, died Monday, June 18, 1990, in the University of Virginia Hospital. Mr. Bradley was born on October 3, 1913 in Amherst County, a son of the late William Hope Bradley and Callie Burks Bradley. He was a member of the Glasgow Baptist Church and was retired from Buena Vista Ready Mix after 49 years of service. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Ruby Wilmer Bradley, Glasgow, Va.; one son, Roger Lee Bradley, Glasgow, Va.; one daughter, Mrs. Louise B. McCullough, Lexington, Va.; two brothers, Henry Bradley, Waynesboro, Va.; Eddie Bradley, Buena Vista, Va.; and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, June 21, 1990 at 11:00 a.m. at the Harrison Funeral Chapel with the Rev. William M. Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in the Rockbridge Memorial Gardens. The family suggests memorials be made to the Glasgow Baptist Church, The Glasgow Fire Department or The Glasgow First Aid Crew. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Harrison Funeral Home, Lexington.
