`FUNNIEST VIDEOS' OFFERS MORE GRAND PRIZES

"America's Funniest Home Videos" has upped the ante for amateur videomakers.

Instead of a single $100,000 grand prize, the ABC-TV program will offer three $100,000 awards in the fall season, entertainment president Robert Iger announced last week during the network's annual affiliates convention.

While the Sunday night program has become enormously popular, it also has drawn criticism for showing videos of children and animals in potentially dangerous situations.

This year's $100,000 grand prize winner went to footage of a man losing his pants while trying to catch a baseball.
