SENATE PANEL VOTES HELP FOR DAIRY FARMERS

Dairy farmers would be assured $10.10 per hundred pounds of milk for the next five years under a section of the 1990 farm bill approved by the Senate Agriculture Committee.

It's the same guarantee offered by the House Agriculture Committee that completed its work on the bill last week.
