CHILD LABOR HEARING JULY 12 AT VA. TECH

Delegate John H. Munford, chairman of a subcommittee studying child labor laws, will hold a public hearing July 12, 10 a.m., at Virginia Tech's Donaldson-Brown Center.

The subcommittee is looking at discrepancies between federal and state child labor provisions and evaluating Virginia requirements in hazardous occupations, particularly farming. Speakers should sign up before the hearing by calling (804) 786-3591.
