GALAX THEATER GROUP PRESENTS `LI'L ABNER'

The Galax Theater Guild will perform in an outdoor production of "Li'l Abner" tonight at 9 in the Elizabeth Brown Memorial Park as part of Wytheville's annual Chautaugua Festival.

The musical comedy, based on the comic strip created by the late Al Capp, stars Tim Thomas as Li'l Abner and Sabrena McKenzie as Daisy Mae. The performance, like the other Chautauqua programs running through Sunday, is free.
