Edward "Eddie" Samuel Young, age 50, of Roanoke, died Tuesday, June 19, 1990. Mr. Young was employed at the Hatcher Trucking Company of Roanoke. He is survived by his wife, Nancy S. Young; his father, Samuel G. Young, Jewel Ridge, Va.; two daughters, Heather C. Young, at home; Tammy Hamilton, Salem; one son and daughter-in-law, Todd and Cindy Hamilton, Roanoke; two brothers, James Earl Young, Fla.; Harold Young, Richlands; three sisters, Mrs. Lilly Oxendine, Md.; Mrs. Kay Dutton, Md.; Mrs. Mamie Oxendine, S.C.; a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 22, 1990, at 1:00 p.m. at the Lotz Roanoke Chapel with the Rev. Carter Sloan officiating. Interment will be in Sherwood Memorial Park. Friends may call at the Lotz Roanoke Chapel.
