NARROWS - Frank Marion Hypes, 81, of Rt. 1, Narrows, Va. died Thursday in Giles Memorial Hospital, Pearisburg, Va. Born in Craig Co. on January 27, 1907, he was the son of the late Robert Thomas and Delia Duncan Hypes. Mr. Hypes was a retired construction worker. He is survived by his wife, Ruth B. Hypes; three daughters, Mrs. Linda H. Hull, Pearisburg; Mrs. Elizabeth H. McCallister, Upland, Calif.; Mrs. Leona H. Merrix, Hiwassee, Va.; one brother, Maxwell Hypes, Pearisburg; two sisters, Mrs. Mattie Mossberg, Pearisburg; Mrs. Lillian Stump, Newport, Va.; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild. Graveside services will be conducted Saturday 11:00 a.m. at the Cedar Grove Cemetery, Rt. 2, Narrows with Minister Kellis McClaugherty officiating. There will be no public visitation. Riffe's Funeral Service in Narrows is in charge of arrangements.
