JONG OH RA, professor of political science at Hollins College, has been awarded a Fulbright grant by the Korean-American Commission. Ra will study women's roles in the Korean political system. He joined the Hollins faculty in 1969.

\ TINA WOODS, an English teacher at William Byrd Middle School, has been appointed a state judge for the 1990 Program to Recognize Excellence in Student Literary magazines.
